Comic Con: Firefight Details Emerge

In firefight, you will have full matchmaking capabilities from Day 1. There will be a specific Firefight playlist where you can jump in, party up, and go.

Some of the built in playlists include generator defense for firefight. This is new since up to now we only thought this would be a human vs. human playlist option. Also announced is a brand new firefight gametype, , Gruntpocalypse which is all grunts, all the time.

You can also set a time limit, so you don’t have to play in those never ending firefight games again. Spartans and loadouts will be fully customizable, to the point, they have described it as “insane”.

Also brand new and just announced, you can play Firefight from the perspective of the Covenant.

All maps in Firefight will be taken straight from the campaign.
